Many stories to tell, so I will try to make this one short.
I see you focused on the fire and food things; We pull up
and the 'SAFETY' T-shirted folks were worse that the TSA (or whomever).
They were searching HARD . everyone. The dudes in front of us?
The guy searching pulled out his prescription bottle and
shook it at him, right in his face. I cant tell you the
amount of 'illegal items' Bertha had in her hull. But I
thought we were gonna be sent to the showers. Sweating
fing bullets we were. The guys searching the lane next to
us.... 10 times worse. So Bertha pulls out the jedi mind
trick.

"Move along"
' move along ., move along'
HA. We had a 1/4 of a cord in that fucking van.
They were confiscating Charcoal and lighter fluid at the damn gate!!
We also had a pit, 2 fire extinguishers and.....AND common sense. Oh, and a
few lighters. I mean we arent savage right?
So we made it through.
Like I said ~ small, controlled fire after setting up camp in the pouring rain?
not on their watch. Sucked
By the end of the weekend, some of the security folk
had seen what we had and they were blown away, like we were terrorists.
This is how we camp in Ohio I explained. I think I ended up leaving 2 dozen
nice ash logs behind, with twice that much to get home.
At least people got
some good food from me. I cant stand the vendors at those shows. They are
the same as the porta potties as far as Im concerned.
Gotta do watcha gotta do right? Last day for sure. Anything goes.
I loved the proverbial cup of cold coffee (esp
after hearing Loser 17 times wafting through the air) in the morning. Other
people? not so much. Thats the condensed milk version.

I like reading your take on it. Lets fill in a few spaces,
here and there: It was just rainy then hot as balls the
last two days. I think we had the same thing going on.
I told my bud that if no one plays "its been hot for 7 weeks now, too hot to even speak now. Did you hear what I
just heard"? well...oh shit, you know the rest.

Point~ I dont think anyone on the stage played TMNS, but
it was one of the first songs I heard from the peep in the
lot. Welcome.
